Coolum Beach Yoga Classes

Being Yoga is one of the leading yoga schools on the Sunshine Coast. Highly experienced teachers, Vanessa Rudge and Michael Daly founded the school over 10 years ago. They offer a range of yoga classes in Coolum Beach  and now in Marrochydore on both days and evenings as well as workshops, retreats and training programmes.

A range of highly experienced Being Yoga teachers also offer vinyasa yoga classes on the Sunshine Coast and other locations across Australia.

We teach in the beautiful flowing style of vinyasa yoga which incorporates all movements with the flow of breath.  Practicing in this way energises and invigorates the entire body and mind. It also greatly assists the dissolving of tensions throughout the body. You will leave the classes feeling refreshed and alive, whilst noticing a wonderful peace and calm within the mind.

Dynamic Yoga Classes - Level 2
 

This is vinyasa yoga at its stimulating best! 

Classes build in momentum from a deep inward beginning toward more dynamic and stronger sequences in the middle of the class.  Through this greater exertion, the body is deeply warmed allowing the final practices of tension dissolving stretches to be more effective. 

These classes are open to everyone who is keen to experience a strong balanced practice of yoga that aims to harmonise strength, flexibility and mindfulness into one dynamic practice.

You'll leave these sessions feeling absolutely amazing!

   Gentle Yoga Classes

The very popular gentle yoga class is suited to all age groups and is particularly popular for those with older bodies.  The focus here is on health management, safety and enjoyable exercise.  Postures are sequenced in such a way as to keep the body at an optimal level of health without placing undue stress on joints or muscles.  Taught in a beautiful flowing fashion, you will leave these classes feeling lighter, fresher and ready for the day ahead.  These classes are also great for pregnancy.

     
 Pregnancy Yoga Classes

Yoga is an ideal body & mind exercise for pregnancy, labour, birth and motherhood. The pregnancy yoga is run as a 6 week course which covers all of the basic Yoga postures for pregnancy, birth and early motherhood. Breathing and relaxation techniques are explored with relation to body , mind and spirit connection and pain management.  No matter how long you have to go – this series of yoga classes will be invaluable to this phase of life.   Bookings are essential for this course - please book in here

   Essentials Yoga Classes - Level 1

This class is suited to anyone who is either new to yoga or who wants a nice workout for body and mind without pushing it too far.  Most of the foundational yoga postures are explored in each class together with a range of deep stretching and joint opening sequences. 

The primary yogic breathing techniques are taught and practiced regularly.  Each class concludes with a well deserved deep relaxation and short meditation.

Coolum Beach Uniting Church Hall, Corner Elizabeth & Heathfield St, Coolum Beach.

Class Prices:

Casual Gentle class: $14
Casual 90min class: $16
6 Class Pass (valid 2mths): $80

Regular classes are run on a casual, drop in basis, there is no need to book in. (except pregnancy course)
