This course is taught by Michael Daly, author of the wonderful book, Calm Living - A natural way to balance your mind and life through meditation. Michael has dedicated the majority of his adult life to practicing, researching and teaching the skills of meditation. Trained originally in traditional Buddhist practices, Michael also spent 7 years under the direct tutelage of a Himalayan meditation master.
Not wanting to get stuck in dogmas, Michael moved a little away from these stricter methods and began developing a modern style of mindfulness meditation that is relevant to where people are at in their lives today. His teaching is informed by these traditions but he also brings an indepth study of neuroscience and modern psychology to these teachings. Michael has taken the best from all these backgrounds and blended them into this powerful practice of Calm Living Mindfulness Meditation.
Michael teaches with a blend of depth and humour, sharing stories from his 20 years of practice and teaching. This is a powerful course that will quite possibly change the way you practice meditation and also deeply inspire you to share it with others.
1. Develop Your Own Meditation Practice - you participate in a 4 day meditation retreat where you will dive into a powerful system of body, breath and mind based meditation.
2. Learn to Teach Others - the remainder of the course is taught over a four day immersion. These sessions focus on how you can effectively teach meditation to others. You will be guided through a programme called Calm Living Mindfulness Meditation.
This course is a little different from some other mindfulness trainings in that it doesn't just fill you up with theory and practice but actually prepares
you to be a teacher and meet the needs of your students.
At the conclusion of this training, not only will you have fallen in love with meditation, you will feel confident and ready to support your students down this life altering path for themselves.

Venue: Being Yoga Ascot Studio
Prerequisites: It is recommended that you have at least 2 years of regular meditation practice behind you before commencing this module.
What are the costs:?
$1,680 -> Includes retreat (dorm accommodation) and full course training, manuals, workbooks, guided meditation practices and support.
Upgrade to a Twin share: $70 (total price $1,750)

A $100 deposit is required to secure your spot. Full payment has to be made by 1st June.
T&C: Your deposit is refundable if you cancel with four weeks notice before your training starts. You can transfer your deposit to another training with 2 to 4 weeks notice. No refund or transfer is possible with less than 14 days notice before training starts.
